How to Manage Multiple Kalix Accounts, Cancel Incorrect Subscriptions, and Request Refunds
Managing multiple Kalix accounts can sometimes require actions such as switching accounts, canceling incorrect subscriptions, detaching from an account, or requesting refunds. Below, you'll find step-by-step instructions to help you with these tasks.
Switching Between Kalix Accounts
If you are assigned to multiple Kalix accounts, you can switch between them as follows:
Navigate to My Organization in the Kalix dashboard.
Select Switch Account from the menu.
Choose the desired account from the list.
You will now be working within the selected account, and all subsequent actions, including subscription management, will apply to this account.
Canceling an Incorrect Subscription
To cancel a subscription on an account you no longer use:
Switch to the account you wish to cancel using the steps provided above.
Once in the incorrect account, go to the Subscription/Billing settings under My Organization.
Follow the prompts to cancel the subscription on this account.
Note: Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your Kalix account or remove you as a user from that account.
Detaching Yourself from an Incorrect Account
After canceling a subscription, you may wish to disconnect yourself from an incorrect account entirely. To do this:
Navigate to the My Organization tab in the incorrect Kalix account.
Go to User Management.
Click the option to "Remove me from this account."
Once you confirm this action, you will no longer be associated with the selected account.
Requesting a Refund for an Incorrect Subscription
If you have canceled a subscription on an incorrect account, you can request a refund for any unused services by contacting your payment processor (e.g., Stripe, Square, etc.). Please log in to your payment account and follow their refund procedures.
