As you may be aware, over the past 12 months, we've been slowly releasing Kalix's Virtual Practice package. As part of this package, several new features have become available including:  

In January, Kalix's telehealth feature also came out of Beta with the release of iOS 11 (iPads and iPhones) and Safari support.

We will continue to launch many more features in the upcoming months including updated client files (and credit card on file), updated online scheduling widget (with online pre-payments) and Fullscript integration to name a few.

Our aim as always, is to be as transparent as possible with Kalix's pricing. Kalix's pricing has always been publically listed on our website. The planned pricing changes to the Virtual Practice package has been displayed on our Pricing page since October 2017.  

We have never increased the price of Kalix, ever since its launch in 2012. Moving the Virtual Practice package to its full price on March 23 2019, will allow us to offer you more frequent new feature releases as well as a greater ability to improve Kalix's existing functionalities.

For existing paying customers, the pricing change will not affect your current payment schedule until August 1. We are grandfathering them into this change by offering the full virtual practice package with all upcoming updates until August 1 2019*. Then, from August 1 onwards (monthly or yearly) they will have the choice to:

Note: if upgrading to the virtual practice package, customers (including those on a yearly subscription) will be immediately charged the pro-rata amount for the rest of their billing period. 

*Customers that purchased a yearly subscription (monthly excluded) using the Cyber Monday coupon code in December, will receive locked in pricing until the end of their billing period, as per the terms and conditions of the sale.

We will continue to offer you the option of paying $27/month (or $270/year)* for Kalix's standard features as part of the Standard Package. Features are listed below:

The new price structure will go into effect March 23 for new paying customers only. New customers can lock in our old pricing until August 1  (receive the full virtual practice package with all upcoming updates) by moving to a paid account before March 23.
